- Hobbies

My name is José Muñoz León. I was born in Santiago, Chile. At elementary school, I studied  at Centro de Educación General Básica in San Miguel. Later, I completed my high school studies at Liceo N.6 Andrés Bello  located in San Miguel as well.

I studied English Teaching at USACH. I finished my university studies in 1984 and then I started to work as a teacher in different places. I first worked  for about ten years in a High School. I learned a lot. Later, I worked at John Dewey College in Las Condes.

In 2001, I started to work at Universidad Arcis as a teacher of English and a supervisor. I finished my Master of Arts in Universidad Andrés Bello where I worked trainig teachers. After that, I entered Universidad San Sebastián as a Coordinator until the year 2012. At present, I work at U. de Chile in different faculties and at Duoc. I am finishing my Doctorate with a foreign university.

I live with my family in La Cisterna. I am the father of Nicolás, who is 15 years old,  Cristóbal aged 13 and Lucas, who is 6 years old..

I love teaching and in my free time I play with my kids, watch movies and sing along with my son Nicolás who plays the guitar, the piano, the drums and the bass guitar very well.
